• In November 2010, awarded with the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Infectious Disease and Cancer Epidemiology (supervisors: Prof. G.Garnett, Prof.P.Vineis, Dott. G. Current position and research activities

• Since July 2007, Assistant Professor at the University “A. Avogadro” (UPO) and “Centro di Riferimento per l’Epidemiologia e la Prevenzione Oncologia in Piemonte” (CPO) in Novara, Italy. Research activities are focused on the epidemiology and mathematical modelling of infectious diseases, in particular on epidemiology and control of tuberculosis and human papillomavirus infection and cervical cancer.

• Since November 2010. Honorary research associate at the Department of Infectious Diseases Epidemiology, School of Public Health of the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London. Research activities are focused on the epidemiology and mathematical modelling of infectious diseases, in particular on epidemiology and control of tuberculosis and human papillomavirus infection and cervical cancer.
